Garden Design
This particular game provides a set of chips representing usual plants, ornaments and decorations that can be found in a garden. The user would be able to select the different representations of these artefacts on an interface represented on a GUI, and then place them on a piece of fabric. Then they would be able to see the virtual equivalent garden being displayed on a graphical counterpart being represented on a GUI.
PACT Analysis
People: The people supposed to use this system would mostly be adults, and with an interest in garden design. Another variation of this concept would be to provide an effective interface for young adults to actually be able to try new designs for their own garden. We can even think of new artefacts being provided by sponsoring leaders of the industry.
Activities: By placing on the fabric the several pins representing the several artefacts classically involved in interior design, the users will be able to create a customised replica of the interior of a house.
Contexts: The context of the use of this system can differ according to their type of use, e.g. virtual garden design for the sake of it, or for a particular purpose for a real-world application.
Technology: The system would be composed of a main piece of fabric being connected to a computer, which would display the graphical interface of the system, i.e. a way to select the several artefacts having to be represented, as well as the result of the design. The pins, maybe generically shaped as plants, or ornaments, would be then used on the piece of fabric.
